This is a Hydroid, correct?

I added a blue cup coral last night, and then this morning, I noticed all these little white specs all over the front of the acrylic.

From the sticky, I read that these will die off on their own, yes?

Yep, that's what they are. they will die off on their own.

I believe it is the medusae stage of a hydroid. Keep watch for a population boom, and possibly new hydroids popping up if they mature.
