Hey reefers,
I recently got a new batch of corals from my LFS and loved this Kenya tree frag I saw. I’m probably just paranoid but I swear it looks different from the normal Kenya trees I’ve seen, maybe it’s because it’s a frag or something idk. I know that other corals look extremely similar to Kenya Trees so I just wanna make sure.

This is not green Kenya tree for sure. This looks like green Sinularia but could be another branching soft coral.

Kenya tree has long extended polyps

Sinularias will typically have a barbed bodies while kenyas will have smooth bodies.

Nepethyea. Sinularia. Whatever. Lol. Its a green Kenya tree. Give it.time to grow out and extend polyps if u wanna narrow down the id to species.
