This is cyanobacteria right?

Do I just have to wait it out until it uses up its resources and dies out or is there anything I can do to help get rid of it? Levels all check good, nitrates 10-20 ppm.

It looks like cyano. Increase the water changes to clear out the detritus should help... and keep the nutrients stable.

Ok will do. The tank is new, just finished cycling.

Since the tank is new it's part of the uglies. You can siphon some out with water changes.
