I've already outgrown my starfire glass Solana. I'd like to find something in the 36" X 24" X 20" deep (about 65-70 gallons) to replace it, reef ready preferred but I can modify it if need be. I'd give up the Solana and even do something in the way of a partial trade if someone would be interested. I prefer rimless but won't be too picky, just let me know if you've got something close that you would consider.

Yeah, I didn't think he'd last very long. I figured his hands started shaking and his face started itching until he got salt water on them! :dribble:

Are you specifically looking for a used tank? Why don't you have one made or make it yourself? That way it is exactly what you want.

Just get a larger tank go big. In another year you will have outgrown the 70 gallon. 70 gallon tanks make you want bigger ones because you can get tangs but small ones. So your gonna upgrade again for tang suitable tanks. Just get a 150

Devon, I've obviously not met you before (thought I knew everybody in Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville). I just downgraded from a 320 gallon tank with a 125 prior to that. I only want to go slightly larger because I need my life to be simple and be able to travel on a moment's notice, not a slave to my tank again LOL. I must admit I do miss my huge acro colonies at times but I know they're in good hands and I can always visit if I feel like driving down to AL. I like painfully-slow growing vividly-bright (and usually well beyond what I want to spend on them) corals. I just go slow (obviously not slow enough, though, if I've outgrown my present tank in less than 6 months), have friends in all the "reef mecca" hot-spots, and grow things out from frags that are often too small to be seen by the naked eye LOL. Not a huge fan of the poop machine tangs, either, although I've owned most of them over the years (except the black and gem).

Any news on the new tank Dave?

My master plan is to sell you guys frags until I can save up enough and build what I want myself. I've built everything else in this hobby; how hard can it be to silicone 2 pieces of glass together? However, at the rate frags are selling these days, I may be retired by then LOL :-)

Dave, you forget that I'm a civil servant....I have to save for months to by new corals.

Trades are always an option. I need to get by and see what you have one of these days. If there's something in my tank you're just dying to have and I can frag it I'll get you a freebie one of these days. It's always a good thing to be nice to officers of the law; just might come in handy some day LOL:wink:

I don't much that I can trade, most of my SPS have browned out from the move. My ORA Verde and a pink stylo are RTN'n . But on a positive note, all the LPS are looking great. I guess if I was a coffee lover I could just say my corals are CAFÉ colored.
