So I bought this dry rock 6 days ago and put it in my tank. I’ve been watching videos and reading forum posts and I can’t tell if this is normal or not?

Let me also add that the black spots are the places where the store glued the pieces together.

If what is normal? Different colour? Tank cycle maybe

Not sure what you're asking about, but it looks like it's mixed pieces of coral skeleton with rock glued together. The brown areas could just be color change from the water.
