Your tank is only 6 weeks old, I would take it back.

The whole tank?

Yes especially when you get a clown like mine that spends the day beating the anemone to death because its insecure or freaks out when you walk past the tank

All clowns are like that. Adorable little jerks.

I have a guy coming out tomorrow from a reef tank specialist place here locally to help me set up a few things, i may just have him take it with him when he leaves... should i send it with the clowns too?

Well after reading that, hes definitely leaving the tank tomorrow... dont need it dying and killing everything else in there, im pretty sure ill be able to do that without help

I would take it back if you can to be on the safe side. It is a Long Tentacle Anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis ). They need a very mature system and lots of sand. Sorry for your bad advice.

Just ask here anytime. We love to help.

@Crabby48 did introduce a mated clown/nem pair to a young tank successfully, but the nem split a few times.

I think the idea that only mature tanks can be successful with nems is a bit overstated, but it's a good general guideline nonetheless.
