Okay so my tank is a little over 2 months old. Started with live sand, dry rock, and bottle bacteria. Have a few fish, snails, and 20 frags. A couple weeks ago rocks started getting color to them almost like a light rust color which then went to green and then it really took off covering all the rocks where the majority of light hit. I tried brushing it off with a very stiff bristled brush but it wont take any of it off like at all. I've read that this could just be an indication that tank is starting to mature which will eventually be followed by coraline. All coral are in good condition and growing so I pretty much wanna say its just part of the ugly stage but wanted some reassurance from others on the subject.
