Any idia

Have you FW dipped? That scratchimg could be a sign of flukes.

how many times have you FW dipped. Another well know member told me. It may be that when you dipped and saw nothing, flukes could have been in the egg stage... Maybe try again?

Describe your quarantine process the fish went through, what meds, what levels, what duration, how did you measure copper, etc

I am testing using the API and it is so frustrating because I tested it this morning and it shows to be between. 25 and 1.0
I have them in a 30 gallon and the other half in a 20 gallon
I put the threw copper then kanaplex and Furan-2 and sulfaplex

Well there's the problem right there lol

My suggestion is to get a Hannah copper checker and use copper power

I cant afford a hanna checker at this time sad face.. and is that meds better

Copper power is usually "safer" and is chelated copper so it runs at a higher dosage. I think you weren't at therapeutic level the entire duration the first time. Also do you have pictures of what's on the fish? That will help too.

I agree with this. It’s very likely based on your copper test and copper used that you weren’t therapeutic.

If you must use these types of testing methods you need chelated copper, keep above 2.0. I shot for 2.25 because that’s how inaccurate and difficult to read they are. With a copper checker I’d shoot for 1.75PPM.

Seachem copper test works best for cupramine if you cannot get a Hanna Checker and feel attached to cupramine.

I almost think I see many small “dust” on your Sailfin, can you get a clearer photo?
