I have a orange spotted goby and it paired up with a tiger pistol shrimp, he went into a burrow with the shrimp and it caved in on them will the goby survive?

Probably depends on the circumstances of the cave-in; from what I understand, the shrimp will close up the burrow each night, then reopen it every morning. Hope they make it!

If the cave is under a rock and the rock gave in too your chances are slim.
The shrimp will be the hero here as he will provide a save heaven for the goby.
Let the waiting game begin.

As long as the rock didn't crush them they should be fine. Many watchman shrimp will bury under sand if there isn't adequate cover, so a sand cave-in should be easily handled.

Thank you for the replies. The rock did not cave in just the sand.
