Go with Figi Pink. Dont know why they call it that because it doesn't really have any pink. Ive got it in my biocube with a 4.5" DSB. I NEVER touch it my CUC does all the work. If you're going to do a DSB its has to be sugar fine sand to create that anaerobic zone. Never had any problems with it blowing around either. As for the biowheel yea you dont need that. Your LR is doing the same thing.

That stuff is really good and will give you a lot more surface area for bacteria than crushed coral. You can mix them and have both benefits of the sands mixed. Personally salmon pink sand just differs in colour when comparing to other white sands. Really it's more white or grey with pink in it, looks great
