This showed up today..idk what it is....help!

So was looking in a friends tank and saw this guy, my friend hadn't seen it before today either. But have never seen anything like it....so my questions are, what is it? And is it safe or not.

Can you get a photo without blue lights? Whites = clear photos.

Would be easier to get help, even if I can’t ID it.

Aptasia is an anemone, but I get what your saying. Unless the pictures is deceiving. Do you have a photo without blues?

That last picture is the best I can get.....its in my roommates tank on one of the ends on a rock by the end glass....not the greatest of spots to take a clearer or more lit up picture as the PAR in that area is lower bc its on the side of a rock so it doesn't get full intensity. N yes I know aphasia is a type of anemone, just not one I want.

Are there any small fish or shrimp missing in the tank it looks like an Aptasia a hogging down something way too big.

The two little black dots look like maybe shrimp eyes

The last pic sort of looks like an aptasia eating a pineapple sponge. But I'm not sure they do that.

Do you feed mysis? Looks like that's what its eating imo.

Its eating the head off a krill. Def too big for itself but it caught it during feeding. And so far it hasn't moved. The base of it is more like a normal nem than aptasia.

Could it be a fathead dendro mine ate my firefish. How does it look under whites?

Its got a white body like a nem n then the tenticals look Tanisha with a mouth in the middle. The body looks inflated with water.

If it’s got sort of more bulbous tentacles, it could be a mojano.
