Ok I have a clown and a goby that was in copper power at 2.25ppm for 14 days. I took them out and placed in another qt tank and now treating with prozi. All this is done as a preventative the fish never had any signs or symptoms of ich, brook, velvet or fluks. I was just trying to prevent thing from going into my display. I had a goby that didn't make it past the first day and it had the same thing im about to ask about that my new goby has. Around its head the goby has a area that is not as yellow as his body and is kinda pinkish. Is this some sort of disease or will this color up once he gets into my display with sand and becoms happy? I saw a post on uronema, im like "is this what my goby has"? I don't think it is

especially when I havent seen post about goby having it (not saying it can't happen though). Any input would be great, thanks. Oh and I was using a hannah check to measure copper.

While that doesn't look like typical Uronema, it also doesn't look normal. The goby is pretty thin - is it feeding well for you? These guys are a bit tricky to quarantine in a bare tank; as you know, they prefer to to build burrows in the sand, and are stressed out when they can't do that.

Yeah if I put pellets in he goes and takes a few then he stops when he seems to be done.

Hungry fish in an overdosed copper solution then to prazi as precautionry and under-nourished sounds like a recipe for certain death.
I agree having no sand to stay busy will likely stress them further. Doing a preventative is very good but in this case was not only Full treatment but a little higher than normal.

I followed humble fish in regards to copper power, theybhad issues running a 1.75ppm so they recommend 2 to 2.25ppm i ran at 2.25. Fish eats every morning and stops on his own.

What copper kit are you testing with and those numbers seem high for quarantine which is what I am concerned with. Those are numbers for actual treatment.
