This started with wanting SHARKS!!

Looks great, what made the decision on going with that type of manufactured shed vs, like a TUFF shed?

Done! Going to get some trim.

They offered what I was looking for. I was able to order the way I needed it with the upgraded floor and metal wrap and I didn’t have to build it. It is a really well made building and I wouldn’t do different if done again.

Cool, are you concerned about moisture build up, I noticed you used regular dry wall vs green board.

It was a thought. I’ll have to get a dehumidifier to run during the winter months as the ac won’t be running to take care of it. I also plan on having lids on all tanks not only to reduce evaporation but to keep fish from flying. No sense losing fish for not having lids.

Sounds good, what are the ultimate plans with this shed?
So many things I want to try. I’ve got a pair of clowns and when they start spawning I’d like to try and raise the fry. I’ve got a spawning pair of blennies so try raising them as well. So many fish I want. Maybe a small rock nem tank in my fluval V. A fish QT and an invert/coral QT. Only tank in my house will be my 120 everything else out in the building.

Next big purchase is a while home generator to protect it all.

Generator is a good call, also look into insurance with tornadoes and those freak hail storms!

Cool! Following!
It’s been work getting to this point but now the fun stuff can begin!

Glad to have you following.

Not sure where the guys that said they were in at the beginning went. Maybe they got bored with the slow progress? Let’s call them back to the party!

Did ya’ll get lost?

Gotta have a freezer in the fish room for all the fish food! And if I’m getting a freezer why not an attached fridge for thawing the food before feeding (and for beer)! I transported it on its back so I’ve got to let things settle a while before plugging in. Hopefully the next time you see it it’ll be full of longneck Ultra.

I also built a step up to the “porch” platform.

Getting the 40 breeders ready for some black background paint. I’ll get them all taped up and then paint them tomorrow. Just too much help right now to get much done. Maybe after dinner and bedtime!

I thought stocking a tank took time. Stocking a fridge will be much more difficult. It’ll disappear as fast as I can fill it. Wife and I are hanging out in the shed this evening. I already painted the tanks earlier today. Now I need to seal the wood shelves that the breeders will sit on. Maybe it’ll help them hold up.
