the tentacles appear at night and retract during the day. Looks clear ish with red/purple in the middle.

Its a ball anemone and will NOT sting your coral. Although given the name anemone, its actually a mushroom.

Might want to research majano anemone
 
Agree it’s most likely a ball anemone, but could be a hidden cup coral. Super easy to tell the difference as cup coral has a stony skeleton, but the tentacles look very similar to ball nem. Here’s a hidden cup coral, 2nd pic shows how the skeleton looks when it retracts.

Definitely ball anemone. They will spread if you overfeed but shouldn't sting anything and most corals will just grow over them.
 
If you like it just be aware that I have one and they seem to very much prefer low light- they toast up pretty fast under high lighting
