Thought I better say hi....Hi!

Been on here reading for quite some time and realized I never said hello. My name is Allen and I live in Iowa. I have been in saltwater tanks for about 2 years. Started with a 150 gallon with 20 gallon custom sump and skimmer with Aqua Illumination Sol lighting x3. Added on a 55 gallon (forgot to add both were FOWLER tanks.). Right now I hugely went down in size. Gave the 150 to my father. Sold the 55 to help fund my current set up. Right now running a 6 gallon Edge set up as a nano reef. Just lightly upgraded lighting, so corals are pretty basic right now. Just here to hopefully keep learning and having fun!

Yeah I went backwards. I wanted a challenge but also something that made people go wow (OK OK in wanted something my wife wold actually let me have in the living room). So I got a 2 for 1 on that...people get to see it...and when they find out its a saltwater tank they are amazed.

Hi. I'm new to the site too.
I see you also have the 6 gallon edge.
I also started reefing with a 6 gallon edge maybe a couple of years back then upgraded to a Mr. Aqua 12gal long last year.
The edge is a sleek little reef. Pretty challenging specially modding the light and trying to keep the stock look at the same time.
It was a fun reef build but I bet it won't be long 'til the upgrade bug bites again. Lol.
