I quarantined my fish in copper after ich.
However, when I returned my fish in the nano tank, yesterday I noticed my Yellow Priolepis Goby. I thought he was dead because I did not see him since this summer and I had 2 major tank emergencies with ato sucking out water during July 4 week when I was out of town and my heater shutting off but last night I thought there was a movement under the rocks and when i used my flash light there he was. He was not quarantined. I am assuming I am screwed. Once, he hides (for months) I have no idea how to catch him. When I was qt my fish I took all the rock out did not even see him. I will just wait and see if my fish get ich now.

Yeah, fallow requires removal of all fish.

The remaining single fish would have allowed the ich to still cycle. Gobies very rarely show symptoms.

If it's a nano, just put all rock into a Rubbermaid tub and dig the fish out of the sand.

Doesnt the Yellow Priolepis Goby hide in the rock. Interestingly my yellow goby is how I found out I had ich

Going fallow is boring (but of course, necessary). Going fallow twice will be rough— just ask me, I’m on my 3rd time. I feel for you :(

I’ve had this happen with a tiny goby in my sump. This is one reason I’m hesitant to buy small gobies — I broke my fallow period this same way— with a tiny goby.

Next time you see it, take the rock it goes in to out and see if you can dig it out.

Sorry for the trouble, been there!
