My naso tang has white spots that showed up about a week ago on his body. I don’t think it is ich. I know naso tangs will develop stress marks but normally go away after a while. Spots seem to be multiplying. Fish is eating well and behaving normal. No other fish seem to be affected as of right now. I hope it isn’t velvet!

It doesn't look like velvet to me, and I can't rule out ich based on those photos....

No change so far. Still eating and behaving normal.
Are the spots always the same, or do they seem to come and go and show up in different locations? Any spots on the fins?

So far they have been in same spots. A few on the edge of the tail. He has been hiding in a cave for the last 2 hours and breathing sort of heavy. I dosed some 2 part and brought a calcium reactor online and dosed a little acropower. After all that, that’s when he hid.

If it escalated like that, my money is on velvet. Keep an eye on those other fish and get a QT tank ready!

If they spots aren’t changing, then it probably isn’t ich. Velvet has very tiny spots that may not even be visible- rapid breathing is the key symptom for that, along with reduced appetite, and rapid death. If the fish is breathing over 80 beats per minute, it becomes a concern.
