I’m really wanting to add a coral beauty to my current set up. Right now I have a pair of clowns, wrasse, & lemon damsel in a 40. Would that be over populating? I also have two anemones (pink Haitian & green bubble tip). I’ve read they’re not best kept in a reef aquarium because they nip at corals. Any thoughts? I do want to add corals eventually, but I am getting a 150 and may wait until that is ready to be stocked. If not the coral beauty do you have any other recommendations on something that would add some beauty to my display?

Thanks!!

It depends truly on what corals you want and what individual coral beauty you get! All fish are different angels have a tendency to snack on corals.. currently working on fishing my cherub angel for this exact reason.

They are beautiful fish though! I say go for it!

Depends on the personality of the fish and corals you'll keep, i had a coral beauty a few years ago. never ate coral but became a bully to other fish so i got rid of him.

I have a coral beauty right now and she has never nipped at my corals. I've also had a flame angel who was a model citizen as well. I was nervous with both, but ended up fine. In the research that I have done, the more you keep them fat and happy, the less likely they are to nip.
