Would it last longer and what would be the rate of the cartridges dieing out compared to a spectrapure enduro or any other efficient di canister?

nobody can touch the mega maxcap or enduro. i tested both for spectrapure and was blown away they were able to improve on their own products.

the exact info you’re looking for has so many variables there’s no way to say. the only statement that can be assured is the one above.

Oh! Thats wonderful to hear :) i have a 3 stage system, would i use the Maxcap or the enduro as my singular cartridge? That is true that many variables need to be taken into consideration aswell!

do you mean 4 stage?

enduro is the last or only cartridge, depending on how many stages you have.

I only have 3 stages being di, carbon, and sediment

your membrane is a stage as well, so you have 4 stages. ;)

yes, the enduro would be the last canister.

Oh! haha XD then would i have 5 since i have dual 100gpd membranes?

4 stage with dual membrane.

i do want to point out that having dual membranes means you’re burning through di faster than a single membrane.

That makes alot of sense! Would it be better to just run one membrane thats 200gpd?

well, let me ask you this - what’s your reason to make so much water, so quickly?

Well at first i wanted to fill up my full system volume but now its to make water for water changes and topping off

i want to say 60-70g

if that’s per month, this would be my ideal setup.

spectrapure
membrane 99% rejection
.5 sediment
.5 carbon
enduro di

if you can upgrade to a spectrapure 5 stage, you would benefit from a mega maxcap before the enduro.

Okay :) and how many gpd membrane would that be? Also i wouldnt be able to upgrade at the moment... but im sure i can get an add on tube for another di resin! Also how long would it last?

90 gpd would work fine for you. just make sure you have a aso valve so you can let your container fill unattended.

hard to say how much longer your enduro would last in gallons, but you’d essentially be adding a roughing stage before your polishing stage. it will save you money in the long run.
