Im curious to know after watching the new documentary about coral health around the world how this might affect the reefers around the world and the hobby as a whole...

I for the most part thought the documentary "Chasing Coral" was outstanding especially the time-lapse parts I do however think the depiction of what coral was and the amazing fluorescent colors that come with them were not fully shown to their greatest potential in the movie what do all of you think?

One of my LFS where I live has been told by his Australian supplier that they are no longer able to ship out coral. The farm that raises the coral for our hobby has been commissioned by the Australian Gov't to grow coral to put back in the reef instead of exporting them. I could see more of this happening.

That's wild to me seeing as how the Australian government hasn't really been up to par at protecting the reef from what I've read( I could totally be wrong) but part of me thinks wow that's awesome replanting corals great idea then the other side of me thinks was the coral industry really a problem in the first place...so many great things and knowledge have come out because of this hobby
