Thoughts on color

Hey guys I'm curious to the color of my hammer coral. It has been splitting like mad lately, but I was hoping for more of a green in the hammers. What do you think.

Most hammers I've seen aren't super rich in color, you might try giving it a little more light but I'm not positive that would work.

My thoughts. Taking the light out of the equation, the zooxanthellae feed off the nutrients in your tank, you could try to either raise or lower PO4 and NO3 and observe the results. But there is always a chance your Hammer came from a dull colony.

Looks like a typical coloration to me. I haven't found lighting to help one way or the other.
