I got this hammer in the other day because it has a couple cool looking pink heads on it. It’s doing fine and everything but this is a pic of what it looked like when it arrived. I’ve never had a hammer where the tissue is so submerged into the body. Normally they look like the other heads on this piece. Any thoughts? Like I said it seems to be fine in the the tank although small polyps. Maybe I just haven’t seen one like this before.

Can you include a picture of it in the tank? Three of those heads look kind of dead, but if there is still flesh in the bottom it may survive. Did you order it online? Travel may cause the polyps to retract far into the skeleton.

It’s not dying I guess I’m just ***** cause my expectations were too high. That’s what I get for buying online. It’s still kinda cool though even though the pink heads are tiny
