Happy indeed :squigglemouth:

Thank you very much for the comparison pic, I think I will wait a bit to order.

These polyps really confuse me . . . I think they are a good looking polyp for 10 dollars . . . everyone seems un-impressed it's kind of disappointing. I mean maybe if they released them at $40 pp people would be enthusiastic. They're coming in by the boatloads for a reasonable price, I don't understand why people aren't all about it. Pretty sweet polyp for the price if you ask me, but I don't have any yet :(.

And P.S. I see an alternating skirt and a semi ring . . . 5 months these will be called chocolate Hornets (when the market dies) and they'll be 30-50 a polyp . . . sorta kidding

Why care what other people think? If you like them, then get them.

The photo was taken with flash on. Under my T5's its beautifully red, flourescent greenish/aqua mouth and yes white and red alternating skirt. Its truly pretty no matter what the price. If anything, the price is a bit cheap for such a awesomely patterned paly

. . . I do not care what others think, when I get a chance I will get it, I was simply stating that it is a good looking polyp but I have seen threads everywhere how noone is impressed with the polyp. I think it's nice to see them priced for everyone. It seems like they had expectations that were not met or something. That is all

I got some and they really are neat and different I Love Them

I also got some last week from Happy corals and love them. I havent seen anyone saying they didnt like them but I have several high end zoa's and love these just as much if not more. I thought it was great they did'nt charge a high price for them.

kass

I like them, especially the center. Looks like a fading explosion in the center.. I would love to see this coral under some bluer lights just to see what colors reflect back. :)

Personally I think the bigger issue was the fact that individuals were able to buy entire colonies of 100+ from their LFS for $30.00 or so, so a lot of the disappointment was not so much in the polyp itself, but rather the price. At least in my understanding. I think they are a nice looking polyp, but long term survivability of all the wild collected colonies and will ultimately determine their value. Its rather humerous to see people upset about the $10 dollar price tag when other vendors where selling the exact same polyp under a different name for $60.00 per polyp, and you don't hear anything about them.

+2 - if they are worth the price to you, then you made a good purchase.

+1 Wy Renegade

I grabbed a frag of these at Marine Aquarium Expo this past weekend in Southern California cause I liked them and they are different. Maybe 5 different vendors had them already. I got 3 polyps for 10 bucks. They are nice IMO. Nice and big. It seems everyone who went to the LA wholesalers got a colony of these. Seriously everyone has them.

Kass,
NIce top down pic. Is that a PPE you have right? and what the red right next to it?

You PPE looked different that it has a green rim as well as green skirt.. Did it always looked like that?

Sorry for off topic, lol

Back to the top.. Yeah, i believe everyone now have a Happy PE in their tank, haha... Who does when they came in at such a force? I'm more interested in how the heck someone found a spot that has 1000 of 1000 of Happy PE suddenly???

wow nice pic! As for this thread, I used to have one that looked just like that but the body was green. It unfortunately melted...
