Thoughts on HOB chaeto boxes?

Was just wondering what your guys opinions were with those breeder boxes that you can put chaeto in. I'm thinking about buying one for a small amount of nutrient export, pods, and more media. Any experiences with these at all?

Depended on the size of the tank you're putting it on, it can be a great way to export nutrients within reason. And what I mean by that is you have to mind what size hang on back fuge you out on what size tank you have. So obviously if you have, for example, a 125 gallon tank, these may not work for you

but if you have a smaller tank these work great for both nutrient control and pod population.

I have a 20 gallon and I think the boxes are about a gallon or maybe half a gallon depending on the brand.
