Thoughts on larger tank manufactures.

I live in Florida so maybe it wouldn't take that long.... do u guys have any gripes with them yet? What u like what u don't like. I know alot of people were complaining about the piping on redsea and so on.
My only gripe is that I didn't have the budget for the 230 and could only get the 100.3

I'm in South Florida. If they have it it left the warehouse in like 2 or 3 days. Plus shipping from LTL I think. I really have no complaints. The stand looks nice. Directions weren't great and it goes together like IKEA furniture in like 3 hours. Piping is, well, piping. Screwed together and that was it.

Ikea !!! Oof that gets me nervous haha ... I have put many ikea furniture together in my day and they are not that sturdy to say the least

Its sturdy. I will agree they could have done better on the stand, it is pleasing to the eye though.

Its plenty sturdy. But the do use the same connectors. you know the rod that screws in, and the little round button that locks them together

True. I think for me the custom route may be a little to aggressive for my needs I wouldn't even know where tonstart besides looking at the manufactures individually. I think going custom would need to be for certain specialties like @joshhhas the closed loop system he wants. For me to just get a regular tank I don't know if I need to go custom. The only reason I was thinking custom is to get that 300 deep dimension without the leaks. But I think a 220 would be plenty!

These things ? Oh I don't know if I like that half the times they dont lock down if they do they are loose and idk. It may be sturdy but for how long.

That's them, but there are probably 60 of them. It is plenty sturdy and I have no worries.

I also had a 300 DD. I personally didn't like the 27" height. It made getting stuff off the bottom a pain, especially in the back.

Custom was quite a bit more money, and over my budget.

Yea i just looked at some videos of custom built ones they are nice but for the tank alone if, if I want to go large, is 2-3+ thousand then just as much for the stand itself.

What do you guys think about the seams the "laser cut" u think its enough to prevent leaks for suck a large tank with no bracing on top

I certainly hope so, as it is full of water. I really like my tank. And I have had a bunch and realize that the final fit and finish is super important to me. The 2x4 stands are a thing of the past for me.
