I currently have 3 AI Primes over my 40 breeder and was thinking about buying a pair of light deflectors to install on the ends of the left and right light. Have any of you used these deflectors and what are your thoughts. Any good waste of money. Any input will be much appreciated.

Is the above pic (from your build thread) the current positioning of your lights?

Are you thinking about the reflectors because of the light hitting your wall on the right side?

I have not used a reflector on an AI Prime light, but I don't think I'd pony up for that. Maybe you could move the outside two lights a bit closer to the center or angle them?

Sorry it's a two cent answer, hope your thread gets more posts.

+1 they seem really high from the water line. If that is why you are asking about the diffuser, maybe lower all 3 in height and lower intensity accordingly

That was an older picture. This how they currently look except the center light now has a light diffuser on it. I did angle them a bit to direct more light into the tank. Just curious about the deflectors as I was browsing several sites and came upon them. Figured for the end lights they would help somewhat.
