Thoughts on My aquascape. Please be honest as My wife and I like it but wanted your thoughts. Have lots of caves and pass throughs for the fish.

Aquascapes should be Functional first, then aesthetically pleasing.

What is the goal of the tank? I assume a reef. What sort of corals? What kinds of fish?
Honestly it sounds crazy but haven’t thought about what fish yet. I’m a very impulsive person so In trying to be patient I haven’t made a fish list as I know I would rush my cycle.
Eventually I would like a community tank. With mixed reef mostly soft corals.

I like it! It has a good balance of heights and caves. I particularly like the ledge coming off the rock structure on the left. How many sides will the tank be viewable from?

I like it! but get the middle rock out of there!!! I would get the little rock out and move the R (smaller) mound slightly to the L. . .

Nit picking aside I think it looks great!

Looks nice but I agree, get that little rock out of the middle. If you're gonna do some negative space, don't afraid to go all the way.

The wife wanted the “little” middle rock for something to look at while it cycles, before we start adding corals and what not. I appreciate the nit picking. We’re installing it on egg crate so we will be able to slide it in the tank a bit.

I like it. Has good balance with some pass throughs for the fish on left and I like the differing heights of each structure. If it were me I'd like to have more and larger tunnels for the fish. I find the fish love to pass in and out of the tunnels. It allows them to escape quickly and you can have more fish without getting so much aggression. Also the fish like to have a lot of places to completely hide at night (overhangs in back work good for this too). If you want multiple tangs you might want to consider more/slightly bigger tunnels. Anyways I'm just nit picking from my experience and like of having tangs in my 150. Overall I really like your scape.

Nice looking rock. Where did that come from?
Nice scape too!

Nice looking scape. Pull the left side a little towards the middle. Keep it about 6”-8” away from the glass/powerhead.
