I am currently dosing all for reef and as corals grow they become more demanding and I found that all for reef alone is not sufficient. I am looking into dosing Red Sea foundation elements A, B And C to cover major elements (alk mg and ca) simultaneously with all for reef to cover trace elements and major elements). Would this work and are there any negative side effects to it?

While I do not have experience with the Red Sea products I am curious which parameters are not going well with the all for reef? Best of luck :)

both kh and magnesium are low while calcium would be in the high range 480-510.
I am looking for a more permanent effect than just doing adjustments. I hope that by introducing the Red Sea dosing products it would give me room to lower my AFR daily dosage.

You’re dosing the same elements if you add red sea. Do a water change to see if you leveled out the kh cal and check your afr dosing. May need to dose a little more

What do you mean it's not sufficient? I dose about 80 to 90ml daily of it and magnesium is the only of the big 3 that it doesn't 100% keep up with (my refugium is likely to blame).

Where I live AFR is quite expensive and it’s not always available. The powdered version is non existent hence I am using the bottled one. If you were living here you would be going through one bottle every 12 days, which is mental.

if not Red Sea what do you guys suggest for dosing?
