Looks to be under the tank. I’m guessing there’s space under it, probably rimmed on the bottom of the tank. OP help us out here lol

No its the silicon on the outside of the glass. To be honest Idk why its there lol

I just saw the dimensions on this, those look great. My 24” high 18” front to back is not easy to maintain or Aquascape. I like it even better now! Get that bad boy wet and salty!
