Setting up a new JBJ Rimless 30g and this is what I’m thinking to stock it with. What do you guys think.

2- Black clowns
1- Blue fin watchmen goby
1- Pajama cardinal
1- Zebra dartfish or Blackline blenny

If you guys have any suggestions I’m open as well.. thanks!

pajama cardinals are pretty boring and uber common. But if you dig them, then great!

look at a tailspin blenny. they are a tiny blenny with Sooo much personality!!

FYI The Zebra Barred Dartfish will look huge in a 30g. They get up to 5". My fish looks big in my 100g. Plus they can kick sand around.

Also the Zebra Dartfish tend to be a schooling fish, so they might spend more time in hiding by themselves. As you will discover fish that spend significant amounts of time hiding are nothing more than an unwanted source of nitrates. I would go with the Blackline Blenny.

A screen top or other lid is a must. Some of those fish are accomplished jumpers.

Zebra dartfish are pretty bold, so even a single specimen should be outgoing. As stated they get surprisingly big, but they aren't supwr active, so will still be fine.

Other options include: yellow assessor, swales basslet, pink streak wrasse, a group of barnacle blennies.
