Could adding new Fiji pink sand cause my tin and aluminum to be elevated? How concerned of this should I be?

Its possible if its land mined sand. If its actual ocean sand i doubt it, as the sea purifies it. And tin wouldnt give sand a pink color but rather a white color, but that doesnt mean its not in there. Maybe ask the manufacturer where it comes from.

Fwiw most tin comes from salt mixes. Aluminum from po4 removers.

I wouldn't be overly concerned, but I doubt it comes from the sand unless it was contaminated somehow.

Lots of people have elevations in this range with apparently fine tanks.
