I just ordered a 310 from them. I looked at custom aquariums (don’t like their overflows), glasscages (to many bad reviews). So I chooses planet aquariums because they have all good reviews and they price was actually cheaper than glasscages. The only down side is it’s going to be a freshwater predator tank until my 180 is ready to be retired.
@FLReefer101 thanks so much for the consideration and the honest post. Very happy you selected a builder. Planet makes some incredible tanks. I am confident you will be satisfied.
Regarding the reviews. Please share more. I haven't seen a poor review since the transition that took place at Glasscages in October of 2019. Truly would like to know about any poor reviews. Would like address them for sure. As well as learn from them. We take a very humble approach to every customer and non customer as to learn how we can serve better.
Below is an outline of the transition.
During October of 2019 there was a major transformation at Glass Cages.
Glass Cages Transformation:
• Leadership Change
• Quality Assurance with QA Check Points
• Digital Production Tracking
• Improved Customer Service
• CAD drawing and approval processes
• Major Investments in Fabrication Equipment
• Polished Edges are now standard on all builds
We are not stopping with these improvements. Please see our reviews after October 2019 on Facebook, google and Reef2Reef. We have asked our new customers to share the truth. Knowing the truth allows us to reinforce the good and correct our challenges.
