What are your experiences with their stuff? Do they hold up reasonably well? Easy to program?
I like that they offer full spectrum lighting, come with legs, and don’t require an expensive separate controller.

Looking at the Photon V2 16 for a mixed reef 60gal cube.

Thanks!

I have one of their value fixtures that has been running for about 5 years. I have zero problems with it. I also purchased a dosing pump form them and couldn’t get to work. After trying to help me troubleshoot it they replaced it. Turned out to be user error but the customer service was outstanding. I’m planing on upgrading to their Photon V2 for my new build.

Agreed. Great Light. Def check out thier forum here. Yup, you can actually talk to them here.

I’ve been a big fan of mine.

Programming can be a little tedious, but unless you’re changing it all the time, I can’t imagine it being an issue.

I’m getting about 30,000 lux at 10” and about 40-50ish% of total power.

Great reviews...awesome!

How about their powerheads and ATO? I’m going to be setting up my first tank, and will likely go Sicce for the return pump, but am looking in the more budget -minded direction for the other hardware. Thanks for the input, all!

I got a used jebao dc 6000 almost a year ago (I have no idea how old it is).
A few times I’ve had to pull the impeller and clean it, but that’s just normal maintenance and the thing looked very used when I got it.

For ATO, I like the tunze set ups. They have nice redundancies.

Just chiming in to say I've been using two of the gen 1 fixtures forever and never had an issue. Very easy to program, very reliable and have lasted 6 years now. The new ones are lighter, which would be nice.
