I have tried BRS two part, just recently kalk, and now I am using reef fusion. I like that it supposedly has some trace elements and helps keep magnesium up. I did read that although it says it’s supposed to be equal parts the calcium is mixed a bit stronger. I ask because while there is nothing wrong with BRS two part, I can get reef fusion locally super easy and for a decent price and kalk was not able to keep up. Anyone using it successfully? What ratio do you use? And how much are you adding?

Ive used it and cant say it wasn't any good. I prefer Reef code A&B by Brightwell or ME Reef Calc and Alk 32oz (almost same cost)

I've never used that product specifically but I'm sure some one will chime in that has. That said, I like dosing products that are seperate from one another due to the demand being different. I prefer dosing alk, calcium and magnesium separately when needed.

Reef Fusion is a two part 1 and 2. It’s just supposed to have added mag and trace elements.

That's what I mean, I like it all to be seperate. I'm sure it works fine for some tanks though. Water changes kept the other trace in check.

After careful thought and right on my shelf-

GO WITH : Red Sea Foundation which is CA, Kalk and MAG as a kit and nice size bottles

Used it for years. Perfectly fine 2 part system. I've used as much as 120 ml per day in the past. My tank currently uses about 45 ml per day of each part, although I dose slightly less of part 1 relative to part 2. I believe the alkalinity concentration per ml is higher than some other 2 part options, so it's actual cost is only slightly higher than other options when comparing it on an apples to apples basis. I rarely ever dose any other trace elements, so my water changes and / or the extra trace elements in part 1 keep those levels maintained (I've ran 4 Triton tests the last two years, which has confirmed this).

That’s what I was hoping to hear. Thanks. I can literally almost walk to the store to get refills and at $15 for a month supply it’s pretty reasonable.
