thoughts on Selcon Vitamin Fish Food?

Hey all I make my own DIY fish food as weel as feed flake but for the life of my cant get fish to eat NLS pellets..

anyway I am thinking of adding some Selcon to the mix worth it or not? I have always heard good things about it but have never tried it .... if I soak the NLS pellets in maybe I can get my fish eathing them?
also be nice to add it to my DIY recipe if its worth it.

I tried it for a bit just to add vitamins or whatever else to my frozen or pellets. Didnt really notice a difference and havnt tried it in a couple years. Im lucky my fish love any kind of food so they will eat anything and are all chunky, colorful and healthy. I will add though my banghia cardinal will only eat frozen, wont touch pellets. Wont hurt to try. One thing i noticed with it was that my skimmer bubble chamber would go down for around 30 minutes after it.

I always add it to the food. If I have freeze dried foods that I'm adding to the frozen, I soak it in a few drops of selcon first, then add to the frozen. I make up a 2-4 day squeeze bottle of food so a few drops are always added.

I just got a bottle of it to try. I haven't used Selcon specifically before, but working at a fish store I started using a supplement similar to Selcon with the food we fed the skinny fish that had just come in. They fattenned up a lot faster and regained their color much more quickly than just food alone. If it helps we fed a mix of frozen and pellets.

Like @cracker, I’m wondering about opinions on the best vitamins. In the frog keeping world, folks are very opinionated on the topic but don’t see a clear leader on fish supplements.

Selcon works as my daily vitamin additive into a mix of frozen cubes. Zoecon is my go-to for HLLE fish in need of extra vitamins to clear up any signs of HLLE. And lastly for angelfish, I like to add Angelixir to purple noir and frozen cubes. It contains many of the "sponge nutrients" not normally found in fish food and vitamins. Works wonders for angels that are looking off in color and behaving too sedate. Highly recommend these three vitamins.

I've had amazing results with Selcon. I recommend using it daily. I add a few drops with every feeding, every day. I have a salt water tank and about 2 weeks ago noticed some damage to my Pygmy Angelfish. I started adding it and today my Angelfish is looking just like he did when I first got him. He isn't swimming sideways any longer either! Here is before and after:
