Hi, I just was wondering if everyone thinks my levels are okay? The reason I ask is because my birds nest polyps went away today for the first time in 3 months of having it which is weird because I’ve noticed significant growth in the three months of having it so I’m confused. I have about 15 other types of corals in the tank doing fine.

What is your phos and nitrates?

Any changes or big swings in parameters?
So yesterday day my alk was 8.4 ive used a Red Sea phos tester and I’m getting a zero reading. I’m doing it step by step but I think I’m going to buy a hanna tomorrow for phos.

If you are 0 on both corals will be un happy.

There are different ways to bring them up.

Feeding is one...there are also nitrate and phos additives that you can use.

Yesterday day I checked my No3 and I’m getting a zero reading.
Yeah seems they’re a little low. I suggest Hannah for No3 n Po4 tests. Red Sea for alk, cal, n mag, for the other tests. I’ve had Red Sea tests for No3 & Po4 n Hannah IMO are a little more precise.
