Seems like a good start to me.So you guys really got me leaning towards just the alkalinity checker and just replenish my calcium Red Sea kit. Good idea?
I'd caveat that I'd only change up the testing method if/when the tank is stable. If the tank is going through swings, then introducing a potentially different testing result could confuse things. The best option, I'd say, is to overlap the two types of tests enough so that you are familiar with any differences between the two. But that might not be worth buying a whole 'nother round of test kits if you're already out...
