Just picked up a frog from my coral guy. I buy direct so it’s cheaper. The frog is big. And oddly looks very healthy. But compared to the euphyllia I’ve have, it seems really white. I don’t want to say it’s bleached. But the frogs I’ve seen have more green and purple. This one almost has light shades of purple and green to my eyes. Photo taken under actinic and LED whites only.

The last pic is from the dealer. The frog seems more green without tank lights. Second pic was yesterday.

All thoughts welcome.

These are extra pics that I got from the dealer. One under whites and one under blues.

Nice chunk of coral!

No idea if healthy or normal, but it looks hellla cool under blues.
Abnormal coloration = designer coral ;)
Straight from the sea. Can tell from the smell. Freshly harvested hammers from the batch

It looks partially bleached. But it also looks very healthy with good polyp extension and no signs of infection. Give it some time in a healthy tank with appropriate lighting and it'll surely recover. It looks like it will be a green base with purple tips - really pretty!

Looks good, nice find. May just be a lighting change that shifted the color.

Take a pic once it’s settled in the tank. Agree with texasreef should color up nicely

Actually thats whats referred to as an octospawn in the hobby(slightly different polyps then a frogspawn). I have one that is that cream color, and one thats the traditional green/purple. I have had the cream colored one for a few years and it has not changed color one bit. I also originally thought it was bleached a bit, but it has never changed colors.

Thanks so much @homer1475 That looks exactly like mine! Exact same coloration except I can see a bit of purple in mine. But that’s probably my lights. I guess you took this pic under pure whites?

50/50 mix

I run T5's with 2 actinic reefbrite strips. I don't like the "windex" look.
Funny. I run T5 actinics for 10.5 hours. And have an LED running at 2 3-hour intervals. When the LEDs go out, I see windex water. But never thought about it that way. ;Hilarious

@homer1475 - After some Googling, I found my coral. Apparently it’s an Indo pink octospawn. Thanks for your help. Even with the Indo ban, where I live, we still get Indo corals. Go figure.
