That’s not a return pump. That pump is to be used as a skimmer pump as it uses a pinwheel impeller and venturi attachment.

If you’re looking for the return version of that pump, just look for a regular Mag 9.5. These are probably one of the most reliable pumps made. However they have a reputation of being loud and they do run hot. I’ve had a Mag 7 from 15 years ago that still works perfectly. I use it as a mixing pump now.

I have 2 mag 5's and a Mag 7. EXCELLENT pump. My first one was purchased 10 years ago and I replaced the impeller once. Very reliable and recommended by me!
