Thoughts on this scape...

Going to go with sand, I want to get a wrasse.

I like it the way it is, but if it were me I would make the left side a tiny bit taller. but I think is great the way it is.

That looks really nice. I would definitely use pvc or egg crate to elevate the base rocks an inch before you put he sand in. Without getting a full tank shot though its hard to see how high it is. Might be some room to elevate even more sections. Especially the top left as Mariano pointed out.

You are 100% right. I need to raise the base layers. If I put an inch and a half of sand it will cover too much of the foundation rocks and the cave/underpass thingy in under the main structure.
I'm already just over half way of the water line so don't want to go too high on the main peak. The egg crate should be perfect. Here are a few pics without the paper support. Some cool little nooks and hidy holes.
Now to pull it out and try cement this jigsaw back together the same way.
Can't wait to get the cycle started in this thing!

Thanks, your floating centerpiece will look great with corals man.
Since this is my first tank i'm not too sure about the corals yet.
I know i want zoas on the island rock. Hammers, torches and would like an anemone for some clowns.
The platforms in the scape would look great with sps growing on them at some point.
But like i said, I'm new to it all so i plan on getting a lot of guidance from LFS in terms of making a solid plan for what i want to stock for both livestock and corals. Cheers

It looks really good, the only thing I would add is, I'd add something small on the very top to break up the flatness, even just one tiny step .
