Thoughts on this skimmer?

Its an external skimmer but you could use it in your sump if you really wanted to. But if you have a sump why not just use an in sump skimmer similar in size as its more cost effective and you only need one pump.

Which skimmer would you recommend? Got this new for $400.

That seems like a pretty good price so if you already have it use it : ) I'm sure it will work well for that size of tank, just keep em fed.

Thanks, can I use this internally in sump?

Not really . If u notice the skimmers u posted has EXT which means External Use and the INT means it's for internal (in the sump use ).
I also used to think you could never over skim a tank but I did it with a Skimz 250 cone on a 70 cube and a buddy recently had the same thing happen on his 60 cube with a rlss 8i . BTW@luke33 that same buddy put his SWC BMK 150 back on the cube.He has had it for at least 5 +_ years and has yet to replace the atman pump.(simply amazing to me ).Any who it did a number on the acans and the sps started lightening up way too much for them to look healthy.I am pretty sure I was changing 10% of the water bi-weekly .
I also fed heavy but it still happened so that's my experience.
