Is it $1200 worthy? There are only 20 captured and 10 in the US apparently.

There was an article about them recently. They are showing up more frequently and often don't keep the blue.

If you're looking for something rare I say go for it, but I think there are much better looking Tangs out there for significantly less $$$. Can't beat a Purple Tang.

Not my cup of tea, especially not for the price tag. Not a matter of having the money vs not, just the principle of the matter for me (although I am broke at the moment haha).

Well that's what happens when your wife is pregnant and you're frugal.

I only spend money on two things (other than my family). Cars and fish. Everything else I am so cheap. Even if I can afford immense luxuries I just have a ceiling. For me it's probably $350 for a fish, 80k for a a car. $10 for a shirt, generic everything, used stuff.

Strange breed I am haha

Lol you sound just like me. Spend 2 or 300 on a fish or coral, no problem. Anything over 20 for shoes is ridiculous. And I buy my shirts in packs of 4 for like 8 dollars, usually rolled up!

Oh yeah, those scopus tangs are ugly. Just because it's rare doesn't make it look good.

My shirts for work have to be button ups. My white undershirts all came as you describe and I only buy my dress shirts at Costco. And by buy, I mean I don't buy clothes I ask for them for Christmas because I just can't justify buying it. But if I have to buy shoes and clothes it's as cheap as possible. Although broke because of grad school now, we did very well for ourselves in the recent past (and will here in a few short months again) but it didn't change me at all. Still a cheapskate..
