Hi all

Been running Red Sea Coral Pro for years. Recently my Alk has been climbing while all else has stayed stable. I know RSCP has higher alk, but it has always netted out for me.

I am looking to make a change to something that falls more in the 8dkh range.

I came across TLF Accurasea1 mix and I think it is a neat idea. I have a small Nuvo 20 and do bi-weekly 5 gallon water changes so this would be amazing!

Anyone have experience with it? Very little in the way of reviews right now so would appreciate any input people have.

Thanks!

I use this on my office Biocube. It is perfect for mixing in 5 gallon jugs. I have had good results and get an alk of about 8 dkh.

I have tried it and loved the idea of preportioned pouches for my son to do his own water changes and things. But no matter what the water temp was, the pump for mixing speed, or mixture of the two I was left with clear grains in the bottom of the bucket. Tried serval things from the customer service recommendations but never did find out the reason for it. Could’ve been a “off” batch but they wouldnt budge when I asked about sending me 1-2 different 5gal packs to try and see if it were me or the salt.... so 2.5 cups of Red Sea Blue bucket and 5 gallon RO is the current mix I’m using.
My blue buckets usually mixes right at 8dkh at 1.025 which what you were looking for right? You not like the RS Blu?

Thanks guys.

Yes RS Blue was also on my list and has solid reviews. I have zero complaints about the RSCP I use now but alk is just too high.

The reason I asked about TLF salt is the pre-portioned packs are super convenient. I dont like the idea of undissolved solids though..
