I've started looking at Tunze pumps to use with my GHL Profilux. Thoughts on Tunze Stream pumps?

I love tunze streams. You really can't go wrong with them. I am also a big wavebox fan. I have used wave boxes for years I had a 6040 on my nano until last week when I took it down to put up my 75 and I have a stream 3 for that tank. I used dozens at the LFS I used to work at.

1. Key selling points for me.

2. Much more durable and long-lasting than any other DC circulation pump I have tried.

3. Excellent customer service

4. No crazy wifi or Bluetooth to fiddle with just connect to your aquarium controller or use the simple built in controller. I think this actually gives the product more reliability and longevity than people realize.

I love my Tunze 6095's!! They are kind of big but seem to be built well and they can move a lot of water. I have had gyres and vortechs and I like Tunze better.

Love my stream 3’s. Each one replaces replaced a gyre250 and rossmont4100. They are silent powerful and have a five year warranty for over half the cost of an mp60!

I currently run four Maxspect Gyre 250s in my 120. I'm planning a 300 build and wanted to trade them out for something else. So hearing you prefer the Tunze over the gyres is all I needed.

My new build dimensions will be 84x36x24 peninsula. I was looking at two 6125s and maybe another two smaller. Or should I just go with four 6125s? Any suggestions?

I have 2 6255's and 2 Stream 3's. Love them all. The Stream 3's are especially awesome. I'm actually going to install the second one today, going to try the vertical orientation with it. Awesome pumps, easy to control, great all around.

Tunze's are, by a long shot, the best wavemaking pumps available. They are simpler, extremely reliable/dependable, low maintenance, and significantly quieter than any other pump I have tried (Vortechs and other no-name propeller pumps).
