So let me start by saying I took over this tank (my first saltwater tank) a few weeks ago from someone else. He had tons of corals and fish inside a year or so ago however had lost interest and most of them died off or he sold them to other people.
As we were moving it to my house we found tiny corals tucked in places that were growing on the live rock. I am not saying that’s what this is but being new I’m not sure.
So is it possible this is a coral? Or could it be that my snails laid eggs? Maybe it’s just an algae?
Would love some thoughts.
