Hi All, was doing a water change this evening and with all flow off; I noticed that small pieces/tentacles of torch are on my rock around my torch garden. I have attached a pic and circles what I am referring to. Any thoughts on what is happening; good / bad? Appreciate your thoughts.

I certainly do not know. But I can tell you I had the same thing happen a few months back and everything was fine.
Maybe double check your parameters just to be safe?

When it happened to me, I was moving my torch around probably more frequently then I should have been

Thanks All, I haven't moved it around since mounting and flow has been the same which is 40% on counter sync mode with the neat wideflow guards; perhaps I will dial it down a bit. This picture was after feeding time and I haven't noticed any retraction of any of the torches. I have been using Tropic Marin Pro and the vat I am using is from 160g box; I transferred to a bucket so am not sure if it was turkey sourced and if that may be the problem. The salt does have dark residue in my mixing container, but I have been getting that since Nov. 2020 and TM told me it was excess Manganese. I was wondering about reproduction, but to be honest I haven't experienced that before, so appreciate that possibility. Appreciate all of your thoughts.

I wouldn’t change your flow if everything is doing fine as it is. Your torches look healthy from what I can tell. I think you may have just blasted it with too much turkey baster flow or something like that. When I had my torch (Died to temperature bleaching :P) I remember I was turkey basting the rocks and I accidentally basted the torch really hard and there were about a dozen that came off. All seemed to heal quickly, just be very delicate with them.

Haven't done any turkey basting lately, so still watching closely. Another weird thing today, is that one of the torch tentacles seems to have attached itself to the frag plug underneath. Here's a pic, anyone have this happen - all other torches seem to be happy:

Yep I've seen this before with mine. Their tentacles are very sticky and I have had them stuck on my hand. It looks very healthy, nothing to be concerned about.
