My 110gal predator tank is currently cycling and while waiting I’ve been building a wish list.

Lionfish

puffers

triggers

eel

Clown fish

Anemone

One spot foxface

Harlequin Tusk

Wrasse

Bird wrasse

Boxfish

Blue velvet damsel

Batfish

Splitfin flashlight fish

Knobby star

I’m obviously not planning on getting them all; I do however very much want one or two puffers, a dwarf lion, and harlequin tusk.

What is everyone’s thoughts on which to actually get, remove or add to the list. Additionally I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on the order of adding them all. And lastly, I think a cleanup crew is pretty much out of the question; what do you all think?
By the way, the photo is when I was adding water; it’s completely full now and been cycling almost two weeks.

Get them all, and let them work it out! :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Otherwise, I would probably skip the strike outs and get the normal font fishes:

Lionfish

puffers

triggers

eel

Clown fish

Anemone

One spot foxface

Harlequin Tusk

Wrasse

Bird wrasse

Boxfish

Blue velvet damsel

Batfish

Splitfin flashlight fish

With exceptions, I don't know about the flashlight fish, how it would work with the others? Same with the Clownfish and Nem, they might work or they might complicate feeding predators?

If there was a laughing reaction I would have done that one. I have actually thought about letting them fight it out, but my wife would put me to sleep with the other fishies lol

The flashlight fish is actually at the very bottom of my list. They’re just really cool looking however, I have read they are extremely difficult in a multi species tank.

Why do you say no on the trigger?

I think the tank will be busting out the seams with the Puffers, Dwarf lion and Tusk eating and competing for food.
Fewer fish allows them more playing room and less fighting pressure, imo

That’s where my thoughts are going; sometimes I just need others to confirm my thoughts hahahaha
