Im 5 days into the hobby.. Are these flat worms.. I orderd flatworm stop on brs and will start dosing.. I sucked hundred out with a 1/4 inch tubbing to try and avoid an ammonia spike. I bought the tank already set up and moved to my house 5 days ago. Any suggestions

Welcome to R2R.

My suggestions using Flatworm Exit is to net or siphon out flatworms as they die....they release a toxin. Also have new saltwater made and ready to do a water change, if needed.

welcome, and the tank looks good so far, i agree that you will want to do multiple water changes after they die off and you may want to stir the sand bed right before to remove as much as you can. there are not fish or coral in tank at this moment correct?

Suck out what you can and then use Flatworm Exit according to the instructions. It works very well, but be sure to also suck out the dead worms. It will probably take a couple of doses than do a water change.

You do need a little PO4 and NO3 but in the case of PO4 if you are using a standard test kit it make not be low range enough to pick anything up. A Hanna ULR is the best way to measure PO4.

Oh, and welcome to R2R.
