I just got this thrachyphyllia a few days ago. I noticed it has this hole on the side and there are 3 little heads coming out. Does anybody know what this is? and if I should be taking it out?

I'm adding some videos and pictures to hopefully help identify.

Many thanks!!!

Did you dip trachy? I'd re-dip and pull/scrub. In just 1 photo could I find just 1 of concerning poking out, but based on that 1 suspect worm of some sort. Would not want it to get loose and spread - could be a worm that only likes trachys but could be a worm that wants to burrow into any coral skeleton. BRS has video that says hydrogen peroxide, but use care to keep peroxide off trachy flesh (perhaps paint it with small craft brush)

Feed your trachy well to help it overcome invasion of hitchhiker. Mine likes to eat an hour or so after lights out. I like to give it Reef Frenzy thawed chunks but BF prefers convenience of pellets (not recommending pellets). We have shrimp that we have to actively keep away until trachy has fully closed up on food else shrimp will steal foods away from coral.
