Threatening Algae Issue & Flucanozole Treatment

Hey guys. I recently have an algae outbreak in one of my tanks. All of my tank parameters are completely fine and in check. I heard about and tried the flucanozole treatment. What are all of your guy’s opinions on it? I just dosed my tank with it. It is a ten gallon nano. I added one capsule = per 10 gallons. How long do you think it will take?

Also, here is what my tank looks like now. It’s only on one side on my tank, and all over my rocks.

When will you see the algae fade away? When I watched a video on it, it said that it takes up to 15 days to completely go away. Is this true?

Can't remember how long but it will go away.

It will likely take care of it. May need another round after the first.

Usually 20 + days. Just be patient and do the 30% water change like it says. It takes a min to work but it’s gentle on your corals. You don’t want it changing the biology in your tank too quickly.

I tried this and it did nothing for my tank for gha. Vibrant was a miracle cure for me. Try that if fluconazole is not successful?

Usually 2 weeks it will die off. It will turn white the die. When doing the water change try to suck out as much as possible to it does not leach all the nitrates and phosphate back in the water column

I love fluconazole. I've used it a few times in the past. It works fast and gets rid of all algae for me. I've only used the capsules you break apart and mix into water from the company Payless Pets online. I've never used any of the other versions. Just make sure to do a big water change after the dosage period is up.
